About / Bio
Zoe Pirnie is the founder of Zoe Emilie Digital, a South Shore-based social media marketing business helping small businesses build a stronger, more consistent presence online. She offers consulting, training and full management to teams and individual business owners. With a background in public relations, entrepreneurship and digital marketing, Zoe understands both sides of running a business: doing the work you love and somehow finding the time to market it, too.
She works closely with business owners to uncover what makes their brand unique and turn it into strategic, engaging content that feels authentic to them. Her approach is collaborative, practical and focused on making social media feel less overwhelming and more effective. She focuses on Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn.

Which industries do you prefer to serve?
I love working with small and locally owned businesses across a variety of industries, particularly professional services, real estate, retail, food and hospitality, home services and other community-based businesses. I especially enjoy working with businesses where there are people, stories and expertise behind the brand that we can bring to life through social media. Don’t have the budget for full management? I’ll train you or your team one on one to do it yourself.
What does your ideal client look like?
My ideal client is a small business owner who values social media and understands that great marketing is a collaboration. They don’t necessarily have the time, ideas or expertise to manage social media themselves, but they’re willing to be part of the process. They’ll send photos, share what’s happening in their business, get in front of the camera when it makes sense, take direction and trust me to guide the strategy.
What does your ideal client need?
My ideal client needs consistency, strategy and someone to take the lead on their social media. They may know they should be posting regularly but struggle with what to post, how to tell their story or how to turn what happens in their business every day into engaging content. They need someone who can see the marketing opportunities they might be missing and turn their knowledge, personality and expertise into a strong social presence.
Red flags – What are your ideal clients saying?
“I know I need to be posting more consistently.”
“I never know what to post.”
“Social media is always the last thing on my list.”
“I have tons of photos but never do anything with them.”
“I know I should be doing Reels, but I don’t know where to start.”
“I don’t have time to keep up with everything.”
“I need someone to tell me what to do.”
“I want my social media to actually look and sound like my business.”
